Check out this fun Dry Erase Photo Frame created using the Festival of Prints Designer Series Paper Stack!

 

How To Create a Dry Erase Photo Frame of your Own:

• Simply purchase a collage frame (you see them in a lot of stores)
• Trim your Designer Series Paper to fit the frames.  These are 4" x 6".
• Note your days of the week using either an alphabet stamp set or alphabet die cut letters.  I used the Morning Post Alphabet and stamped the days on Very Vanilla banners.
• Use a dry erase marker to note each days events and appointments

Christmas Square Swap

Recently, my Icy Inkers team completed a Christmas Square Swap.  The idea is to create a small piece of art that is no larger than our Scallop Square Punch or 1 3/8" Square Punch.  Everyone did a fabulous job and I created this sampler using everyone's creations.

Here is a closer look:

You could also use this little creations as "card candy".  Simply adhere them to a card base for a clean and simple result!

Spice Cake Mason Jar Pin Cushion

I just can't get enough of using Mason Jars in my crafting and home decor!  Check out this fun Mason Jar Pin Cushion Jar featuring Stampin' Up!'s Spice Cake Designer Fabric.

 

The label is created by stamping the label image, from the Apothecary Art stamp set, in Soft Suede Ink on Pool Party card stock.  It is die cut using the Labels Framelits and mounted on a larger die cut and dry embossed label of Soft Suede card stock.  The label is embellished with an Antique Brad and suspended using Victoria Crochet Trim.

Snowflake Joy Frame

Are you looking for a quick gift idea or a way to add a little Christmas to your home decor this season?

Here is a fun holiday decor piece that is quick to create and makes a wonderful gift.

How to create Joy Frame:

• Emboss a 5" x 7" piece of Very Vanilla card stock with the Northern Flurry Textured Impressions Embossing Folder. 
• Add Pearls to the centers of the snowflakes.
• Tie a piece of Cherry Cobbler Seam Binding Ribbon to the bottom right corner.  I actually adhered two separate pieces, using Mini Glue Dots, to the back of each side and then tied in a square knot.
• The JOY letters were die cut from chipboard using our Typeset Alphabet Bigz Dies.  Then apply Champagne Mist Shimmer Paint to the letters using a Sponge Dauber.  Adhere letters using Mini Glue Dots or Multi-Purpose Adhesive
• Insert into the frame of your choice

A Little Something Diva...

 

This fabric frame, featuring the Twitterpated Designer Fabric, was one of the three projects that my Diva's created at our last Diva Day.  Diva Day is a quarterly event earned by my downline members for their sales, recruiting and promoting. 

These frames are fun and pretty easy to create.  Just cut a piece of quilt batting the size (or slightly smaller) than the opening of the frame and place on the cardboard frame filler.  Cover with a piece of Stampin' Up! Designer Fabric of your choice and adhere fabric to back of card board with a hot glue gun.  Close up back of frame and embellish the front as desired!

A fun little home decor accent to pin photo to or leave as is!

Altered Mason Jar Pin Cushions

Need a quick and easy gift idea or just want to add fun to your craft space?  Try making these fun pin cushions using Mason Jars.

Simply cut a piece of Stampin' Up! Designer Fabric, larger than your canning lid.  Using a hot glue gun, cover the canning lid with fabric and adhere the fabric loosely, 3/4 of the way around the lid.  Insert your fabric stuffing and finish adhering the fabric.  Embellish as you wish with ribbon and/or tags!  Easy peasy.

I made these jars for my stamp room.  My colors are Pool Party, Cherry Cobbler and Very Vanilla.  Also, I transferred all of my Baker's Twine to old thread spools that I had from my grandmother.

Monday Makeover - Custom Switch Plate Cover

Would you like to add a littler personalization to your Home Decor?  Do you have a Stampin' Up! Designer Series Paper Assortment that you absolutely love?  Well, put those two together!

I have a Makeover for you today.  As with any makeover, you need a "Before" shot!

The light switch plate cover in my stamp studio.  Plain white.  Are you ready?

 

TA-DA!  My Timeless Portrait custom switch plate cover!  How fun is that?!  My son, Hunter's first response was "WOW".  Now, if this makes a 12 year old, pre-teen say "WOW", it must be striking!  LOL!  But it's super easy.

How To Alter A Switch Plate Cover:

1. Lay switch plate cover over Designer Series Paper of your choice.  Trace (on the back of paper) around the edges and cut approx. 3/8" wider than your trace marks so that the paper can wrap around the back of the plate.
2. Adhere paper to switch plate cover using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.  You can make a small snip at each corner and overlap to get the paper to lay flat.
3. Use a Hobby Blade to cut out the center opening.  Use Sanding Blocks to smooth any frayed cuts.
4. Using a foam paint brush to apply a generous amount of Crystal Effects.  Allow to dry!

That's it!  It's that easy!
