This last Saturday, I got to celebrate my grand-niece's 5th birthday with her. And Breanna is all about Hello Kitty! So I made her this card.
Isn't Breanna a cutie!
Here is a close up of the card.
OK, do you want to know the recipe for making Hello Kitty?
The arms are two Small Oval Punches (retired, sorry) of Whisper White and two of Regal Rose. Trim the Regal Rose ovals and adhere over the Whisper White Ovals.
The body is an Extra Large Oval Punch of Regal Rose that has a Small Oval Punch for the neckline. Then insert it back into the Extra Large Oval Punch in the opposite direction to trim.
Layer the punched and trimmed Regal Rose layer over a Whisper White Extra Large Oval Punch. Trim the bottom in the same way as you did the Regal Rose layer.
Use your Paper Snips to trim the bottom of the Whisper White to create her little feet.
The head is an Extra Large Oval punch of Whisper White with Stampin' Write Markers creating her eyes and nose. (Note: Hello Kitty actually has a yellow nose-eek!). Her ears can be created with either the Small Oval Punch or the Blossom Petals Builder Punch.
Trim some Basic Black card stock for her whiskers.
Her bow: 2 large eye circles from the Owl Builder Punch - trimmed and connected by a medium eye circle from the Owl Builder Punch.
And you have a super-cute Hello Kitty! Thanks to Lynn Pratt for the original recipe.
Don't you love creating Punch Art with Stampin' Up! Punches?! The possibilities are endless!
Have a wonderful week!
