The fun card was created by my upline, Carol Bartle. Carol used the fun Tea Shoppe stamp set, Sweet Shop Designer Series Paper and Twitterpated Designer Fabric. All of these items are found in the 2012 Occasions Mini Catalog which ends today!! Ack!
Don't miss your chance at some beautiful products before they leave!
Welcome to Keep It Simple Saturday (K.I.S.S.)! Today I have a little Smooch for you - Summer Smooches Designer Series Paper that is!
This clean and crisp card was created by fellow demonstrator, Julie Smith. Isn't it pretty! Julie used the Labels Framelits dies to accent her focal piece which she "fussy cut" from the Summer Smooches Designer Series Paper. The Adorning Accents Edge with the marker dots is just the right touch to set off the Summer Smooches Designer Series Paper on the inside of the card! Thanks Julie!
The Summer Smooches Sneak Peek promotion ends this Monday, April 30th!
Today I really wanted to share some good news and this is the best news of all!
HE IS RISEN!!
It seems that family and friends all around me are dealing with very difficult circumstances and my heart has been very heavy this week. I had to remind myself this morning to Rejoice in the Lord because he knows every detail of every one of these situations. I am very thankful to serve the Living God!
This is a great layout for using up Designer Series Paper pieces. I used the beautiful, vintage-themed Attic Boutique Designer Series Paper for this card. The focal element is the Easter Dove stamp which has been heat embossed. Both the Designer Series Paper and the Easter Dove stamp can be found in the Occasions Mini Catalog.
Heat Embossing Tip:
Create your own Craft Pad - if you don't have the correct Craft Stampin' Pad color for your project - create your own! Simply ink your image in VersaMark Ink first, then add the Classic Ink Color of your choice and stamp your image. Cover with Clear Stampin' Emboss Power and Heat. For this card I inked up my "He Is Risen" image with VersaMark Ink and then Soft Suede Classic Ink - then I stamped and heat embossed it.
Emboss A Small/Open Area - On this card the inside of the dove is Heat Embossed by using the VersaMarker pen and White Stampin' Emboss Powder.
I pray this card brightens your day and reminds you that there is a God, He is alive and he loves you!
Are you a gnome lover? If so, this one's for you. This was one of the projects at my recent Birthday Stamp-a-Stack Class. It features the fun stamp set - Gnome Sweet Gnome that is found in the Occasions Mini Catalog.
He is stamped with Early Espresso Classic Ink and colored in using Stampin' Write Markers. The fabulous Stamp-a-ma-Jigstamp positioner was used to to set the birthday cake image "just so" in his hands.
Yea! Yesterday was the First Day of Spring and I am very grateful. Now, in Washington state, that just means we only have a few more months of rain until we encounter sun on a regular basis. But, it is a new season, none the less, and with it comes new growth and the promise of warmer weather.
I thought this card was bright and springy! It is created with the Twitterpated Designer Series Paper from the Occasions Mini Catalog - LOVE IT! Have I said that already? A bit of Riding Hood Red Pleated Ribbon, a Paper Daisey and a Brights Button with Baker's Twine make up the embellishments!
The 2012 Occasions Mini Catalog is filled with all kinds of products and creative ideas to help you with your Spring projects.
One of the special times of the year to indulge in it, is Valentine's Day. Making pages for loved ones, family and friends is so relaxing and fulfilling. Here is a beautiful scrapbook page taken from the Occasions Mini Catalog that I hope will get your creative juices flowing.
If not, check out this Valentine card that features the new Twitterpated Designer Series Paper! Don't you love this paper - it has vintage as well as contemporary patterns!
The card also has Blushing Bride Pleated Ribbon and Cherry Cobbler Dazzling Details. The heart image is stamped in Riding Hood Red Classic Ink and then coated with the Dazzling Details.
The new Occasions Mini catalog contains many great new products. One of my new favorites is our new Framelits.
The innovative, thin, wafer-like design of these dies lets you see where you’re placing the design before you cut! Layer dies inside each other to cut frames for stamp images. Cut single hearts or labels for accents or layering. You can use them with single sheets of card stock or Designer Series Paper. Hearts Collection coordinates with Take It to Heart Set (p. 14). You can spend all day playing with them!
The Labels Collection coordinates with Apothecary Art Stamp Set(p. 24). The possibilities are endless as to what you can create. I know you will have as much fun as I have had making projects. Each collection includes 6 dies in a sturdy envelope for easy storage in our Big Shot Die storage.
Here is a project created using the Labels Collection Framelits and Apothecary Art stamp set:
Not only can you precisely die cut your stamped images but, with all of the sizes of layers, those images have perfect mats and frames to really set them off! Love it.
