Monday Makeover with Bling!

Today I have a makeover for you!  No, not a beauty makeover - a Stampin' Up! makeover!

I saw this box of cookies at a local store and thought the layout would make a great card!  With a little help from Stampin' Up!, here is the card -

 

What do you think?

The stamp set is Pennant Parade and the bling comes with the scallop strip of Red Glimmer Paper and the Red Rhinestones on either side of the heat embossed "Merry" sentiment.  The red rhinestones come from two Fire Circle Rhinestone Brads that I took apart.

The two large circles were created with our Circle Scissors and the tree is popped with Stampin' Dimensionals.  The white stitching was done with our White Gel Pen.

Tuesday's Trigger is Saturday's K.I.S.S.

Check out this fabulous purse!  It is this week's Tuesday Trigger over at the Moxie Fab World.  I love the great fall color combo and the symmetry of the design.  Thought it would make a great Keep It Simple Saturday project.

Here is my take:

Just a cascade of fall colored 1" Circle Punches with a Whisper White Heat Embossed greeting.  Two of the cards corners were rounded to set off the circles.

Keepin' It Simple. 

What simple something are you doing this weekend?  Maybe you could make a card and send it off to a friend who could use a little encouragement!

Today Show Appearance

Every year Shelli Gardner, Stampin' Up!'s CEO, makes an appearance on the Today Show around the holiday season.  She was going to make that appearance next week with these beautiful Thanksgiving cards. 

This week, Shelli received a phone call asking to postpone her scheduled appearance until December 6th.  Although, disappointed, she will create great Christmas projects to take with her and has released these Thanksgiving ones.  They are just too nice not to share them with you.

Mark your calendar and be sure to tune in next month when Shelli makes her December 6th appearance on the Today Show.

This is a card that I created to send out to my November workshop hostesses.  I am so thankful to all of you who invite me into your home, with your family and friends, to share a craft that we love!  Thank you!!

I used Mojo Monday 215 Sketch as my inspiration:

The coordinating Day of Gratitude stamp set and Spice Cake Designer Series Paper did the rest.  This layout is a great one for using up scraps paper!

I love the saying in this stamp set -

It's a Dazzling Polar Party

Have you checked out the new Dazzling Details in the Holiday Mini Catalog?  This iridescent glitter glue makes it fun and easy to add a little sparkle to your projects. But, don't limit yourself to card stock.

 

One this card, the Dazzling Details was added to the edges of a Beveled Windowpane to resemble a frosty winter window.  Fun!

The cute little penguin comes from the Polar Party stamp set.  I love penguins!!  He is stamped in StazOn Jet Black Ink and colored with Stampin' Write Markers.  Both the edges of the Pool Party and Crumb Cake card stocks are inked with Whisper White Craft Ink to add to the "frosty" feel of the card.
