Oooh, isn't that just too fun! Great colors and images. I love my white dish towels. I guess they remind me of a simpler time - especially this one with the canning jars. I do have to tell you that I can every summer - beans, peaches, pears, applesauce and jam. Yummy!
So, when I saw this image as Cath's Tuesday Trigger this week - I had to play along.
I pulled out my Morning Cup stamp set. Don't you love it's simple lines? I basically duplicated the layout of the towel to my card. I used our Whisper White textured card stock to duplicate the texture of the towel. White string and staples were added between two of the elements to duplicate the look of a tea bag.
How do you get all those tea cups to stack up so nice and neat?? Grab your Stamp-a-ma-jig!
This handy-dandy stamp positioner will allow you to place your images exactly where you want them! Love it.
I hope your day started with a great cup of something yummy! It was tea for me today (we're out of coffee beans). Ack!
What beverage starts your day? Leave a comment and share.

Jill

Last week, I was blessed to travel to my hometown of Eureka, CA to celebrate the wedding of my niece, Jammie to her husband, Kameron. It was a wonderful weekend with my large and loud family.
Jammie and Kameron's colors were black, white and green - a fun combo. You can see the wedding card that I made them in THIS POST.
One of the fun things that Jammie and Kameron had at their wedding was a candy bar. Each guest had an empty box at their place to take and fill. As you can see, all of the candy coordinated with the wedding colors! So cool and classy!
Speaking of coordinating, this is a photo of me with my siblings - my brother is the father of the bride. Can you believe that we all wore black and white?! A complete coincidence. Great minds think alike I guess.
So, let's talk wedding colors.
What were your wedding colors? If you are yet to be married, what colors do you want for your wedding? If you were to do it all over again today, what colors would you choose? Leave a comment and share!!
I guess I had just one wedding color - Night of Navy. If I were to do it again today??? Hmmm...I'm thinking Basic Black, Whisper White and Cherry Cobbler.
Thanks for stopping by.

One of the first signs of spring for me in Washington State is when the cherry blossom trees begin to bud out. So, when I saw the Trellis Card as a Technique Challenge (TLC316) over at SCS, I knew I wanted to make a card with cherry blossoms on the trellis. Now that I think of it, cherry blossoms aren't usually found on a trellis - OOPS!
Well, I made it anyway and it was lots of fun. The idea behind a trellis card is to make a opening in your card front using a die or circle/oval cutter. Then behind the opening lay strips of card stock to resemble a trellis. You can frame the opening if you would like.
For this card, I used the Frame, Oval Scallop die for the Big Shot to cut a Whisper White Scallop Oval Frame. I then textured it and strips of Whisper White card stock using the Square Lattice Textured Impressions Embossing Folder. I adhered the strips behind the scallop oval frame and then adhered a panel of Greenhouse Gala Designer Series Paper behind that.
Right now where I live, the cherry blossom trees are beginning to bud out and they are beautiful! What are the signs of spring for you? Leave a comment and share!

This fun tin was created using the SNEAK PEEK products Four Frames Stamp Set and Paisley Petals Designer Series Paper. These beautiful new products will be available in the 2011-2012 Idea Book and Catalog and will be on a SNEAK PEEK promotion in the month of April.
The Decorative Label Punch was framed using the technique in THIS POST. The Taffeta Ribbon is held on using Mini Glue Dots that have been "balled up" so they don't show.
Inside the tin are four votive candles that have had belly bands added to match! The inside of the tine has been lined as well. Where did I get the tin?
This was the tin in it's "before" stage. Great chocolate candy in a fun and alterable tin!
Do you love these new products? I know I do! Would you like to earn them FREE? Well, you CAN in the month of April if you host a catalog, basket or in home party with qualifying sales ($350 min.).

Welcome To Keep It Simple Saturday!
What do you do with all of your fabric scraps? How do you use them up?
After preparing for my Springtime Vintage Fabric Brooch Classes this week, my stamp counter was left with a nice pile of small fabric flowers and circles from the Fun Flowers Bigz L Die.
When I saw this sketch from Clean and Simple Blog (FTL132):
I knew exactly how to use some of those fabric circles!
In addition to using up the fabric scraps, the cool thing about this card was how, once again, everything coordinated. Stampin' Up!'s ink, card stock, fabric, embellishments - THEY ALL COORDINATE! I have to say that I often forget how spoiled I am not to have to think about matching things. Talk about Keeping It Simple!
Adhesive Tips:
I hope you enjoy this simple spring fabric card and a simple way to use up your fabric scraps. Have a wonderful weekend.
PS - I'm wanting to get over 150 fans on my Jill Stamps Facebook Page this weekend. Come over and "like" my page! We share lots of fun conversations! See you there!

Here is a fun box for spring that you can create using a sheet of our 12" x 12" Designer Series Paper. It is basically a 2-4-6-8 box but made larger with a 12" x 12" start.
Box Directions:
1. Score paper at 3", 5", 8" and 10".
2. Turn paper and score 2" from one edge. Edge will be your bottom
3. Trim each score line (3", 5", 8" and 10") from bottom edge up to 2" score line. These are the flaps to the bottom of the box.
4. Use Sticky Strip to assemble box sides and bottom flaps.
5. Pinch top and close with ribbon, clips or any other fun embellishment.
This box features the Build a Blossom stamp set and coordinating Blossoms Petals Punch. I love how Stampin' Up! coordinates so many of our punches to stamp images.
Do you have a favorite stamp set and coordinating punch? Leave a comment and share!!

Welcome to Keep It Simple Saturday!
Yesterday, I saw this photo over at the Moxie Fab Blog. What a clean and simple look for a room. And when I couldn't get this photo "out of my head", I knew that I had to create a card.
This is the card that I came up with. Very clean and simple.
The "Remember" piece is the wall print and the "R" circle is the for alphabet letter on the shelf. I used star brads for the Hodgepodge Hardware Kit to bring in the star rug. And a wood grain textured Decorative Label Punch is my dresser. OK, that just sounded a little weird to type. ;o)
Here is a close up of all the elements. A very different card for me, but then when you have a label as a dresser and brads as a rug - what else are you going to get? But I kind of like it.
Today I am remembering all of the people affected by the terrible tragedy in Japan. My prayers are with all those who have suffered loss and for those that will be heading to Japan to help.
"God is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble." Psalm 46:1
I pray you have a simple day of enjoying all of the blessings that surround you. Thanks for stopping by.

Jill

Isn't this fun and cheery and spring like?! I love it.
I received this card today from a fellow demonstrator, Karen Kuhn. She and I did a product swap this week and this was in the envelope with my product. So pretty.
Now, I believe the dry embossed daisies were created with die cuts from our Flower, Daisies #2 die. You run the die cuts back through the Big Shot with the daisy die cuts against the Whisper White card stock. Now, that I'm not sure, I'm going to have to figure out this technique! Another blog post!
Thanks so much Karen for this pretty card! I just love the black, white and yellow combo.
What is your current favorite color combo? Leave a comment and share with us!

Hi everyone -
It has been brought to my attention that the survey box for my blog survey that I posted today did not translate into the email subscription emails. I'm sorry.
I also had a few people mention that they did not see the survey box on my blog page itself. I had not experienced that occurrence until once tonight. Once I used a different internet browser, it came up fine.
If you are an email subscriber, please, please take a moment to go to my blog here:
And answer the survey question that should appear in a yellow box. I have received numerous responses, so I know that it is working the majority of the time. I'm not sure why we are getting the error. If you are on my page itself and do not see the survey box, try opening a new Internet browser (Internet Explorer, Google Chrome - Firefox seems to have the errors) or a new tab within your current browser.
Wow, I'm hoping for input and errors are keeping you from responding - frustrating!
I really appreciate your patience and look forward to your input. Thanks so much.

Jill
