Yes, these two pretty colors will be leaving us forever on June 30th. So, I had to pull them out and use them on one of my club projects this month. To see the full story on our Color Renovation - CLICK HERE.
How did I pick these two colors? Well, I have lots of Pink Passion card stock to use up and I pulled out our fabulous Color Wheel to see what it thought should go with Pink Passion. Lavender Lace was one of the answers. I thought pink and lavender roses would be pretty.
The beautiful rose image and greeting come from the Fifth Avenue Floral stamp set which is 20% off this month as a part of our Two-Step Into Spring Promotion. You will love this set and the coordinating Manhattan Flower Textured Impressions Embossing Folder for the Big Shot.
My club members wanted to cover water coloring in this month's classes - "Ask and you shall receive". I used StazOn Jet Black Ink to stamp the rose image on Confetti White card stock. It is colored it with our Watercolor Pencils and Blender Pens. It was kind of cool the way the water coloring curled the card stock - gives the rose a more realistic look. I mounted it with Stampin' Dimensionals.
Hope this card brightens your day with it's color!
